Heliski in Aosta Valley
Heliskiing or heli boarding is the ultimate experience for every serious skier and snowboarder. There is no better place to get a taste for powder and heliski than in the Aosta Valley located in the north west corner of Italy. Heliski opportunities are plentiful with some descents starting from over 4000 metres and with over fifty landing spots located across the various valleys of Courmayeur, La Thuile, Valgrisenche, Cervinia, Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna. There is massive amount of vertical drop to be skied.
Based on the snow and weather conditions we will advise the best place to go to ensure you have the best skiing possible. All our heliski programs can be combined alternately with off piste ski-ing using ski lifts or skins. The best period for heliski in the Aosta Valley is from the beginning of January to the end of April. Based always on the varying annual conditions of when you decide to come. You will be accompanied by an UIAGM Mountain Guide to ensure maximum safety.

Price is based on groups of 4 and the area you plan to ski. You can expect to cover 1,500m of vertical drop for a single flight to 5000 mt. vertical drop for 4 flights.

Choice of zones will be based on the best conditions and weather. It is possibly you will ski in Switzerland, France as well as Italy. Approx 15.000 mt. of vertical drop over the 5 days.

Skiers need to be experts and physically fit
From per person
Included: UIAGM Guide, helicopter, avalanche transceiver, harness, shovel and avalanche probe.
Not included: Personal equipment, transport, skipass (if necessary), accommodation,lunches, evening meals, expenses for the mountain guide.
If the helicopter can not fly the unskied vertical drop will be imbursed.
You will not be reimbursed if you are not physically fit enough to complete the vertical drop.
