Climbing at Finale Ligure, Liguria (Italy)

With the alpine guides of mountain experts you can try free climbing in a coastal area where there are kilometres of rock faces to climb.

Finale ligure is an old riviera town in Liguria that boasts an incredibile climate for free climbing.  The old medieval centre of ‘Final Borgo’ is the meeting point for climbers who travel from mainly Europe  but also from further afield to climb in this incredibile area with it’s numerous limestone routes.  Approx 2000!

The cliff faces start just a few 100metres from the centre and there are climbs for all levels.  From beginners to professionals.  There is even a climb of several hundred metres that is literally just above the water line.We recommend the spring and the autumn as perfect climbing periods as the summer can be very hot and not ideal for climbing.

Day 1

Sunday – Arrival of participants at accommodation.   4 star hotel, farmhouse or camp site the choice is yours.

Day 2

Check out the area and visit the first climbing area.  Level easy.

Days 3, 4, 5 and 6

Your alpine guide will choose the location of your climbing day by day based on the weather, the temperature and your level.
